Families can explore science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics during the 11th annual Mississippi Science Fest on Saturday.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 19 at the LeFleur Museum District in Jackson, with additional satellite locations across Mississippi.
The Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, Mississippi Agriculture & Forestry Museum, Mississippi Children's Museum and Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame & Museum will participate in the event.
Experts and special guests from science-based industries across Mississippi will provide hands-on activities and experiences designed for children and families.
Organizers say the main event will feature STEAM-focused exhibits, demonstrations and presentations from Mississippi-based exhibitors.
A single ticket provides access to all four participating museums, giving families the opportunity to explore exhibits and activities throughout the LeFleur Museum District.
The Mississippi Science Fest is celebrating its 11th year of STEAM-focused activities for families across the state.
