Twenty-five years ago, our department set out with a simple but ambitious mission: cultivate talent, connect people, and contribute lasting impact. A quarter century later, that mission has been realized through the efforts of our students, faculty, alumni, and the industry and government partners who have invested in us every step of the way.

We’ve cultivated talent — thousands of students who’ve gone on to build successful careers. We’ve connected generations of students, alumni, and faculty into a lasting community. And together with the industry and government partners who’ve invested in us through internships, funding, and mentorship, we’ve contributed impact that reaches far beyond our classrooms.

This anniversary belongs to all of you. Whether you’re a longtime partner, a contributor, reconnecting with old classmates, or meeting the students and faculty carrying our work forward today, we’re glad you’re here. Join us in celebrating 25 years of cultivating, connecting, and contributing — and in looking ahead to what the next 25 will bring.
