As part of ExxonMobil’s support for the program Dr. Taweesak Bunluesin, public and government affairs manager, and Ms. Woranun Sakulsiritarakul, public and government affairs advisor, served as judges to select the outstanding project in the Applied Science category.
This year, five projects advanced to the final round in the Applied Science category. These projects showcased the integration of scientific knowledge, technology, and innovation to address challenges through a systematic scientific approach, reflecting the creativity and problem-solving capabilities of Thailand’s next generation of innovators.
The Prime Minister’s Science Award 2026 is organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) through the National Science Museum (NSM), in collaboration with the Science Society of Thailand under the Patronage of His Majesty the King and the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA). Since its inception in 2017, the program has honored outstanding young talent in science, technology, and innovation while encouraging students to further develop their skills, exchange knowledge, and pursue scientific excellence for the benefit of the nation.
ExxonMobil’s support for the Prime Minister’s Science Award reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to promoting STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and empowering young people to develop the knowledge and skills needed to drive future innovation. By encouraging students to apply science and technology to real-world challenges, ExxonMobil aims to help nurture the next generation of innovators who will contribute to Thailand’s sustainable development and future prosperity.
