— Science Museum is trading lab coats for cowboy hats at SMO21+: Saddle Up, an adults-only evening where rodeo spirit meets hands-on science on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, from 7 to 10 p.m.
Guests ages 21 and older can experience the museum after hours with , themed cocktails, live entertainment and experiences with a wild western twist. The five SMO21+ events held throughout the year give adults a rare chance to experience the museum like kids again, cocktails included and no field trip chaperones in sight.

“The museum has hosted dinosaurs, robots, and rocket launches, so it only felt right to add a rodeo to the list,” said , President and Chief Executive Officer of Science Museum Oklahoma.
Tickets start at $35 for general admission. VIP admission includes early entry at 6:30 p.m., a complimentary signature cocktail and discounted drinks throughout the evening. Advance purchase is recommended, as previous SMO21+ events have sold out.
