A $2.2 million grant from the National Science Foundation will boost Stillman College’s STEM education and improve student career readiness, the Tuscaloosa-based school said.
The $2,241,737 grant was awarded through the foundation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities Undergraduate Program (HBCU-UP) Implementation Projectsinitiative. The funding will support a new project designed to strengthen STEM education, improve student outcomes, and prepare graduates for high-demand careers, according to a news release.
