ELKO – The last day of Teen STEM Camp ended with extracting strawberry DNA and making miniature green houses.
Campers ran an experiment with a white flower and food dyed water. Overtime, the petals would turn a different color. 
Camper Mason Hess dissected a lower jaw bone from an owl pellet during the University of Nevada, Reno Extension College’s 4-H department’s STEM camp.
