TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Lunar Eclipse will be visible from Tucson tonight, Aug. 27, and Flandrau is hosting a watch party.
They will feature shows about the moon, Pink Floyd laser shows, a live speaker, and, of course, telescopes outside to watch the moon.
“Tucson is known as the astronomy capital of the world,” Planetarium technician Lucas Syneder said. “It’s really great for anybody who likes to look up at the sky.”
The planetarium expects to have a large turnout
